Sara’s pediatrician told us it was normal for a child to have anxiety when I left her at childcare. My mother kept telling me she would get used to it. Something still did not feel right. I had her evaluated because I was still worried and her behavior and it was getting worse. It didn’t take MTC’s social worker long to spot the problems and recommend some strategies. Thanks to MTC and their behavior program Sarah is a lot happier and so are the other children in her classroom.

What a relief to have your child receive his speech therapy at the childcare center where he spends his days. My husband and I would have to rotate and miss one day a week of work in order to bring Ben to his therapy appointment. With MTC that has changed. We both can work a full week and we know Ben is still getting the help he needs. Thanks MTC!

We hate to admit it, but we doubt that we would have had Angela screened for developmental delays on our own. Her older sister was more advanced at the same ages, but nothing that seemed significant. At first we weren’t even going to have MTC screen her. We are glad they did. MTC discovered a couple of sensory concerns. It would only have gotten worse as she got older. Instead we saw improvement within a few months.

The quality of therapy being provided to my son has been amazing. What surprises me even more is MTC’s commitment to work with Nicholas’s teachers. He is not only getting the help he needs from MTC, but they took the time to show his teachers new ways to help Nicholas during his day.

It had been a very hard time for my family and myself. The day our old center closed was very difficult for us. Nicole called me to see how we were doing. After I told her that we were trying to get into our new center, she took it upon herself to make sure she could still see our son there and then worked it out with the staff so she could see him on his regularly scheduled time. She did this all on the day they closed. I was so worried about the sudden transition for my kids, but knowing that our son would keep his speech therapist, who he loves, was a huge relief for me.

I feel that because my son has taken to Nicole and loves going to speech, the therapy has shown much improvement. I wanted to take the time to write you so you knew how much we appreciate Nicole, that she is a wonderful therapist, and has a special knack for working with children. She has exceeded our expectations.

Thank you.

Mobile Therapy Centers of America has been an outstanding support to the children, parents, and teachers at Early Discoveries. Providing convenient on-site therapies to the children who need them, right in the comfort of their daily care setting, with parents and teachers able to participate and learn from MTC therapists, has been one of the best innovations implemented at Early Discoveries to date. What I like best about MTC is the staff -- all of the therapists are top notch professionals who work well with children and adults alike -- compassion, attention to detail, and prompt service delivery are just a few of their hallmarks. I have complete peace of mind in the MTC staff and the excellent processes they've created to maintain excellent customer service, thorough communication, and cutting edge therapies.

We are noticing the difference and his p's are more pronounced. Also on a positive note, he used to frequently get frustrated and would cry because I couldn't understand him. He'd ask "why don't you understand me?" But since he started therapy he's showing more confidence and will alter pronunciation as needed until I do understand what he's trying to say.

He also talks very positively of the therapy sessions and takes me to the room each night to let me know what he did that day.

Thanks.

Lisa, I just wanted to say how pleased I am with how Sam's speech is improving! He has been correcting himself this past week and likes to show off that he can now say his "th" sound! Thanks for doing a great job, he really looks forward to seeing you twice a week!

Sam’s mom, Robin
