Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator supports daily operations by scheduling and maintaining appointments for clients and staff using multiple computerized scheduling systems, including Central Reach. This role is essential to creating a positive experience for families and supporting staff success. You will work closely with multiple departments and communicate regularly with clients, families, and employees.
Essential Duties:
Schedule, update, and maintain client and staff appointments using a computerized scheduling system
Communicate schedule changes with clients and staff clearly and professionally
Match staff availability and skill sets with client needs
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Build positive, professional relationships with clients, families, and employees
Stay organized while managing multiple tasks throughout the day
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for scheduling accuracy, audits, and organization
Qualifications/Requirements:
1-3 years’ experience in scheduling.
Advanced communication and organizational skills.
Experience using the Central Reach database or similar systems.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Computer proficiency skills: Google docs, Microsoft.
Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
Consistently display a positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude.
High school diploma/GED required.
